Our grape guard sachet is a quick release type formulation which control fungal growth and extend shelf life, especially against Botrytis cinerea, a common post-harvest disease. The product is used in grape storage, transportation and export. The product is first of its kind in India. We are the sole manufacturer of Grape Guard Sachets. It is an affordable alternative of expansive and bulky grape guard pads.
The active ingredient of this product is sodium metabisulfite which is allowed to be used in the national food additive hygiene and the content is ≥70%.
How to use it for cold storage: After picking, packing and entering the cold storage, place the grape fresh-keeping powder evenly in the middle or upper part of the grape fresh-keeping bag. After the grape is quickly pre-cooled for 12h-24h, the fresh-keeping bag will be discounted or tied. Finally, the cold storage is normalized.
For long-distance transportation: After the grape is pre-cooled for 12h-24h, put the grape fresh-keeping powder, then put the fresh-keeping bag at a discount or tie, and finally carry on the heat preservation transportation.
