Smartcoat fruit coating concentrate
Chitosan + Aloe Vera Gel based coating for Pineapple Fruit Freshness. It is a liquid edible solution based post-harvest treatment to protect and extend the storage and shelf life of fruit.

Principal Use
The product is a Chitosan + Aloe Vera Gel based coating used on Pineapple to control weight loss and excess respiration, retain moisture, and preserve natural color of fruit.
Instructions for use
Shake well before use. To aid mixing, store the unopened container at 15-30˚C prior to use (60-85˚F). Pour entire contents of container slowly in the water flow as the treatment tank is filled. Leave diluted product for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. For pineapple the 1 L content bottle to be mixed with 5 L water for maximum treatment result.
If fungicides are used, add them to the diluted product. Treat fruit by any method which ensures total coverage, i.e. dip, drench or spray methods. Diluted product may be used for up to 5 days.
